King Azian is a reserved sima, keeping to himself except with his mate. He doesn't like talking about questions deep about himself, simply because he doesn't know. He focused on his country and kingdom, and loved to let it grow and become better and better.
Because the kingdom was handed down by his father once he was crowned the King, he tried to make sure that his kingdom was his top priority.
But, he also is dedicated to his mate. He went against the rules and married her without a betrothal or courting process, which upset countries beyond his own, but he doesn't care. He loves her, and loves his country, and even though people may think he doesn't have much to him beyond that, he does, but he finds it hard to explain or to put himself into words when people can experience him themselves.

The Kingdom
Azian lives - or well, lived - in a kingdom called Thaleon, a country allied with both Roseelf and Crystalbridge, two smaller countries that are at separate poles of the world he resides on. Thaleon was run by an agricultural government, their main exports cotton and lumber. It was rather successful, making good revenue from their products and the citizens seemed to do well. Azian and his Queen were able to rest easy at home, taking care of minor things through the kingdom. Until, Greenmay grew interested in their trade.
Prince Gunnar, the ruler of Greenmay, approached the King with a proposal of trade. If Thaleon agreed to send their lumber only to Greenmay for ten years, they would send both allowances of money and livestock to the country for payment of the wood being sent. The large country's main export was coffee beans, meaning that cutting down trees and using them for products was a valuable thing and could not be done often. Gunnar wanted the chance to grab at some of Thaleon's rich trees, and get enough to be able to start growing them at his own country. Sadly, King Azian was not entirely for this idea.
The man wanted to keep sending the wood to other countries to increase the kingdom's profits. Sending it to one country would be a weak economy choice for Thaleon. So, he refused the offer. But this was a choice of life or death. Having refused the offer, Greenmay could easily take over the country and take the resources by force. Azian was afraid of a war and didn't want to face it. After discussing every possibility, the man came up with the only solution: Destroying the country he loved.
It was the hardest decision of King Azian's life. He loved his country and had built it from soil up. But now, if he didn't take it back down again, it could become worse than it would have been if he left. He evacuated his citizens as privately as possible, funding their expeditions to go to another country and reside there. The last people in the castle were him and his mate. But, it was down to him when he sent her away, setting his castle aflame and running from the problems that had piled on his shoulders.
